Sean Christopher's 1st birthday (Madagascar Theme)

After a year hehe ngayon lang ako nakapagpost ulit dito.. syempre january nanaman abala nanaman ako sa pag plan ng birthday ni sean.. buti na lang end of january siya so I have the whole month to plan his big day!

Anyway here's my birthday kwento:

Theme: Madagascar
Venue: Chateau Elysee Clubhouse, Paranaque

Adult Food : Blue Petals Catering 4/5
- ok naman yung food.. though di lang nila type yung pasta.. siguro yung second batch kasi malamig na pero yung first batch daw ok. I like this caterer kasi affordable sya and ang bilis ng transaction to think a week before sean's birthday lang namin sila kinuha.. kasi naman na ospital si sean so hindi ko alam kung makakapag paparty pa kame or hindi. Anyway lahat naman ng hiling ko tinupad nila... like yung colors atsaka yung set up. Yung mga waiters din bibo.. pagdating namin sa venue mga 11am nakaset up na sila ang galing!

Kiddie Food: Labor of love ni Mama Lulu, Nanay at Ate Cris 5/5 haha
- syempre tight budget kaya sariling sikap na lang sa kiddie food.. madali lang naman.. spaghetti, chicken lollipop..hotdog..sandwich.. swak na!

Foodcart: Party Tools (Cotton Candy and Ice cream cart) 4/5
- simple lang set up pero ok hindi sila naubos atsaka 1 week lang din before the party lang na confirm toh actually nadaanan lang namin sila on the way sa blue petals nung nagbayad kame... ok naman sila di naman na late.. sana lang sa susunod siguro mas party theme ang mga carts nila

Cake: French Kiss (2 layer cake with cupcakes) 4.5/5
- syempre masarap at maganda ang cake.. they worked out naman within my budget kaso may kulang sa lay out ko ng cake.. wala yung #1 na malaki katabi ng lion. Pero ok na rin ineexpect ko 2D lang yung lion yun pala 3D na lion hehehe

Venue Decor: Labor of love ni Mommy Shyn with the help of Tita Crizelle, Kuya Tonton, Ate Clawdz, Daddy, and Tito Daboy.. balloon set up naghelp din si kuya boogie and friends

Souvenirs - TY beanie animals from Grammy galing sa states.. then Madagascar kiddie tumbler from Divi with candies and chocolates inside from SM

Entertainment: Boogie and Friends (Hosting with Balloon Twisting, Magic Show with live animal tricks, Bubble Show at Unlimited face painting) 5/5
- wala na kong macocomment pa super happy ako sa kanila.. naibigay ko nga yung ulo ng lechon sa kanila sa sobrang happy ko hehehe

Overall nakakapagod pero masaya... yung party preps ko nakak frustrate kasi konti lang ang nakikita kong madagascar items kaya nung may nakita ako pinakyaw ko na agad. I also liked the idea of having the kids in costume.. buti na lang game ang mga nanay! hehehe nakakaaliw at ang hirap magdecide ng winner sa best in costume.

Isa lang nireregret ko nung birthday ni sean.. hindi ako kumuha ng photographer! haaay konti lang ang pics pero ok na rin carry na rin wala na rin kasi sa budget eh.

Can't wait sa 2nd bday ni sean.. mas simple lang atsaka malamang cars na theme ko kasi nung 1st bday nya ang dami naming nakitang cars na items.. ayoko na ng mahirap na theme hahaha

you really put your heart into this party, with a lot of stuff personally done by you. with the pictures, maybe you can just ask your friends to send you their shots, i'm sure a lot of them were taking pictures also. but it seemed like a really fun party.
